Black River, May 8.--The funeral of Russell Snowden took place Monday P. M. at the Presbyterian church. Rev. Smith delivered a most able and appropriate address. The school children paid their last respects by marching to the church in a body and placing an abundance of wildwood flowers about the casket. Mrs. Snowden wishes to thank her friends, who have been deeply grieved over the loss of Russell who was a bright, promising boy, on whom his mother looked with pardonable pride expecting that he would some day be of great assistance and a source of comfort to her.
