The Review is pained to learn of a severe misfortune that happened to Robert Ritchie and family of Alcona township, Tuesday afternoon. Their farm residence caught fire and was totally destroyed together with nearly all of its contents, and also a granery containing several hundred bushels of wheat adjoining the residence. The property was without a dollar of insurance, and the loss falls heavily upon Mr. Ritchie. Misfortunes never come singly it would seem. It will be remembered that Mr. Ritchie's son Joseph was killed in the woods by a falling tree only a few months ago, and now he is burned out of house and home, so to speak.
