More on the Campbell-Reynolds marriage.
Wedding Bells.
Brief mention was made last week of the marriage of Dr. S. E. Campbell, of this place, to Miss Jennie E. Reynolds, of Bay City, at that place, Thursday evening, Jan. 12th. The Tribune contains the following in regard to the event:
At the residence of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Reynolds, Fremont avenue, Thursday evening, were assembled some 30 or 40 guests, the occasion being the marriage of their daughter Jennie to Dr. S. E. Campbell. The ceremony was performed in a very impressive manner by Rev. E. Chesney, after which the company sat down to a bounteous repast, to which full justice was done. Upon reassembling in the parlors the guests, by request, affixed their autographs to a beautiful wedding souvenir or album, which will doubtless be highly prized by the happy couple. The presents, consisting of silverware, glassware, crockery, plush and bronze, books and pictures, were beautiful and useful, but too numerous and varied to admit of individual mention. The bride was one of the most popular and esteemed young ladies in this part of the city, and she will be greatly missed, especially in the church and Sunday school, where she has been a most active and zealous worker. In this our loss will be Harrisville's gain, as that village is to be their future home, the doctor having there an extensive and lucrative practice. The best wishes of their numerous friends are heartily extended.
