Dorothy M. Campbell
Dorothy M. Campbell, 80, of Lincoln died Monday, April 18, 2005 at home.
She was born on June 4, 1924 to John and Ida (Peterson) Yuill in Grand Rapids, Minn.
She was raised in Haynes Township, attending Harrisville High School. She also attended college in Mt. Pleasant, Mich.
On Nov. 30, 1946 she married J. Duncan Campbell. They resided in Saginaw, Mich. until 1955 when they moved to Haynes Township (Lincoln) where they resided until returning to Saginaw in 1958. They returned again to Haynes Township in 1980.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of the United Methodist Church of Lincoln and Ossineke Eagles 3762 Auxiliary.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Watts of Hartland, Mich. and Joyce (Dennis) Bird of Fenton, Mich.' and one brother, Lloyd (Phyllis) Yuill of Hubbard Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Duncan, on June 3, 2002; one son, Thomas, on July 25, 1969; and one brother, Gordon, on May 26, 1967.
Funeral services were held on April 22 at Gillies Funeral Home. The Rev. William Omansiek officiated.
Burial was in Mt. Joy Cemetery, Haynes Township.
