A sudden and rather unexpected death occurred at Bean Hill on March 12, last, when Mrs. Henry Von Fintel, nee Sophia Fuhrop, succumbed to hemorrhage of a blood vessel.
The deceased was born near Homber, Ohio, March 13, 1889. On Jan. 24, 1907, she was married to Henry Von Fintel, Jr. and in the spring of that year they moved to Mud Lake where they have since had their home. She was 20 years, less a day and leaves to mourn her loss her husband and parents, and several brothers and sisters. She was held in loving esteem by her neighbors and friends, as shown by the wealth of flowers placed on her grave.
The funeral took place March 16 from the Lutheran church. German services were conducted by Rev. Schwan and those in English were led by Rev. Brown.
